With a view to continuously expanding the range of processes, Gamba has inserted a CNC vertical lapping machine for cylinders Car PE500.
The machine performs lapping of cylinders with diameters from 16 to 120 mm and allows to obtain tolerances of a few thousandths and roughness lower than Ra 0.1.
The management with Fanuc CNC gives high flexibility, providing various processing strategies to satisfy even very stringent requirements.
In particular the set-up and equipment privileges the finishes. The tests certified up to Rt lower than a micron.
To reduce the environmental impact and ensure better protection for its employees, the lapping machine also uses cutting oil based on synthetic esters produced from vegetable bases, in collaboration with Cadoil, our partner for the development of the sustainable factory.
