At Gamba we are looking for new solutions for more precise and efficient machining. That is why we were the first buyer of the new generation of MAR MCR grinding machines. This machine won us over with the validity of the solutions adopted.

MCR is a modular cylindrical grinding machine for external and/or internal diameters with a rotary table, suitable for machining workpieces up to 250 mm in length and a rotary diameter of 250 mm.
It has a base made of natural granite produced in Italy with the most precise workmanship. This plinth has only three levelling points, allowing it to be positioned on any type of flooring to guarantee the stability that ensures maximum precision during machining.

The plane-prismatic sliding of the table is also realised directly on the granite top, with the interposition of anti-friction material to limit friction. The roller carriages, which are equipped with linear guides with recirculating roller bearings and controlled by pressurised absolute scales, also run on this support surface.

The axis arrangement provides a differentiated set-up for each individual tool to optimise processes and speed up machining in order to offer a high-performance machine. Each linear movement is, in fact, ideally aligned to the machining operation to be performed, thus reducing the time required to move the grinding wheel. These optimisations are also possible thanks to advanced control systems that allow the mechanics of the grinding machine to function at their best.
